C.I.S.S Eligibility & Training Requirements

Becoming a Certified Investigative Security Specialist is reserved for individuals that all specialized GCTactical training programs.

How to Become a Specialist

 Step 1: Register for the CISS Designation Training Program.


Step 2: Complete the required online GCTactical Advanced Security Training package (AST). The AST program includes the Use of Force Handcuffing & Baton Training, OC Pepper Spray Training, Crisis Intervention & Verbal De-Escalation and the Cybersecurity training programs.


Step 3: Upon completion of the (AST) training programs, you will be awarded the C.I.S.S designation and Certification.

What is the (AST) Training Program

Advanced Security Training (AST)

The GCTactical (AST) training requirement consists of the following online training programs and certifications. 


All certified specialist are required to complete the  following online training programs to earn their C.I.S.S credentials & designation.


Courses:


  • Crisis Intervention Training & Certification 
  • Use of Force Training | Handcuffing and Baton Certification
  • OC Pepper Spray Training
  • Cybersecurity Fundamentals


The online programs are self paced and can be completed from your home computer, laptop or smart phone.

Certificates of Completion

The following certifications will be awarded to you upon completion of the (AST) training program

You will receive 5 certifications upon completion of the training program.


1 - Verbal De-Escalation & Crisis Intervention - Certification


2 - Use of Force Training | Handcuffing & Baton - Certification


3 - OC Pepper Spray Training - Certification


4 - Cybersecurity Fundamentals - Certification


5 - Certified Investigative Security Specialist Designation - Certification (C.I.S.S)
