Questions and Answers

Can I come pay you at your office? Can I pay at your location?

We only accept payments online on this website. We do not accept any payments at our physical office. All registration payment must be completed online using Visa, Master card or Bank Debit Card.


Where is your office, where are you located.

We have administrative offices internationally. These offices are designed for administrative use and are not accessible to the general public. We do have physical training locations in Canada, USA, UK and over 16 different counties. However these locations are only accessible when a physical in-class training course is being conducted. 


Is the class offered in class or is it only an online course?

We have both online and in-class training options available. You would have to check the schedule to determine of there are any in-class sessions scheduled. The class schedules can be found at this link https://gc-tactical.com/training-schedule . If there are no in-class sessions scheduled, you would have to register for an online training option instead.


When is the next in class course scheduled ?

If the in-class scheduled is not listed yet on this link https://gc-tactical.com/in-class-training you can e-mail our head office directly. They would be able to followup with your request and provide you with more detailed information on any upcoming classes. 


How or where do I register? How can i register?

What is the cost or prices for the courses

The courses are available in CAD, USD, GBP and AUD. Depending on the currency you want to use when completing your payment. If you wanted to view a list of the courses and their prices, just click on the register menu tab and select the specific currency that you prefer. Once you click on register you will be able to see the list of prices. How quickly can I finish the course

The courses are average from 3 to to 8 hours. They are all just videos that you would need to watch. You can watch the videos in one day if you wish. However you have up to 150 days to finish the course before it expires. You can complete the courses on your own time and pace. Once you finish the vides you will get your digital certificate sent to your email address.


Is there a final exam or assignments

There are no final exams or test or assignments. You juts have to watch the vides. Once you finish watching all the videos you will get your certificate sent to your email address. Passing the course is guaranteed.


Is there guaranteed jobs after? Will i get a job if i do this course?

We do not offer jobs directly. We provide training and certification on behalf of companies that require this training for their hiring process. If you are seeking employment, you would need to contact the employer or the employment agency that referred you to complete our training program. 

However, in most cases, most student that complete our training have a much higher success rate to find employment.


Do I get a patch and the plastic ID card?

When you finish the course, you will get a digital certificate sent to your email address. However, if you wanted to purchased the optional ad-on that included a physical plastic card and patch, then you can purchase them when you register for an additional $20.00. You don't need to order the physical certificate and ID card, They are only optional if you would like them.


When can I start the course?

As soon as you register for the course, you will receive an email with instructions on how to log in and begin your online course. You will receive instruction to create your username and password. At that time you can log in and begin your training program.


I already registered and paid but I dont know how to start or log in. I didn't receive an email or information to start my training.

If you are having technical issues or if you did not receive any information on how to begin your course, you can contact the training department directly by sending a message using the contact form. Please note that it takes approximately 1 to 3 hours for your account to get activated once you've registered. My password doesn't work. I tried logging in to do my online course but my password is not working. Can I reset my password?

It's not letting me log in. If you already created your password but are having difficulty logging in with your password, or if the website is not accepting your password, you can request a password reset and try logging in again. Im having trouble logging in, can you show me or explain to me how to log in? Once you have setup your password, you can login and begin your online course. I completed my training but I did not receive my certificate yet. How can I get my certificate?

If you completed you online of in-class training but you have not receive your certificate yet, you can contact the support team directly. They will be able to follow up with your request. I lost my certificate, how can I order a new certificate?

The course isn't working, I logged in but the videos aren't loading.

If you logged in to complete your online course but the videos aren loading properly on your account, you may have an issue with your browser. Try the following to correct the issue.

1) Clear your browser cookies and cashe, restart your computer and try to log in again.

2) Try using a different browser like Google Crome, or Safari. Sometimes using a different browser will fix the situation. In many cases the browser might be outdated or needs to be upgraded.

3) Make sure you're not using a VPN or firewall or anti virus that might be blocking the videos from loading.

4) If you cannot access the course using a laptop or computer, try logging in using a cell phone phone or tablet. trying a different devise in most cases will resolve the situation.

I got my digital certificate but i didn't get my physical certificate and ID card yet. When will I get my card and physical certificate

If you have not received your physical certificate or plastic ID card, contact the support team so that they can followup with your request.  You can contact the support department directly by sending a message using the contact form. I want to become an Instructor

I keep trying to log in but it keeps taking me to the same screen and the course is not available.

If you are trying to log in but are having difficulty, make sure you are logging in to the correct website. To complete your online course you need to login on the following website link https://www.guardcourse.ca/login/   If you are logging in to the correct website for the online training, but it seems that your password isn't working so you can start the course, you may need to request a password reset and try logging in again.


I had training in the past, can i re-certify instead of taking the full course? Is it cheaper to re-certify?

If you previously took the training and want to re-certify, you can complete a recertification registration. To re-certify you can go to this link https://gc-tactical.com/recertification-1  . Is the course offered in french as well? No the course is only available in English at the moment.


My course is not available anymore, can I or you reactivate it for me on my account? It says the course is only valid for 30 days.

In most cases, the course access is only available for 30 days. If the course is not completed in that time frame, the course is automatically cancelled. However, i recommend that you contact the GCT Support Team and ask if they can assist you to reactivate the course for you.  You can message them by completing the contact us form.


Can I order a new certificate because I lost my certificate. I would like to order a plastic ID card and certificate also. If you lost your certificate, or if you would like to purchase and order a physical certificate and plastic ID card, you can complete the certificate order form.  You can order and purchase your physical certificate and card here https://gc-tactical.com/certificate-order-request
